Interested in comments from those who have used PayPal or its siblings but has decided to try an alternative payment/service like Skrill, Payoneer or other services that doesn’t require a subscription fee.

I've never heard of those others you mentioned but I'll use PayPal on occasion but I've been using Zelle more and more over the past couple years. It's an instant transfer so there's no waiting period like Paypal. Almost all my customers have it so it makes getting paid a lot easier for me once I finish a job. Seems like most banks have Zelle attached to their site now. Another is Venmo but I've only used it a few times and like Zelle it's an instant transfer.

I use Cash Ap to send money to my daughter, but I think there is a small fee on her end.
I use PayPal for other transactions when buying from unknown sites or individuals.

A quick search says Skrill takes crypto. That would be my pick, if they support Monero I could do transactions over $600 lol. Payoneer seems sketchy.
