Alarm menu

According to our manuals there is an Alarms menu in Settings > Vehicle > Alarm. I was able to enable its display using the following forscan options.

IPC 720-02-02 Xxxx xxxx
0 - Alarm menu hidden (Default??)
4 - Show menu

Is this menu showing for anyone in their models without forscan?

Also I’m not sure if the options work as I have no idea how to test out the differences between the settings or what the setting differences are. The “Ask on exit” option does ask an annoying question of what setting you would like on exit of the vehicle. But the real settings I just don’t know how to confirm.

You would turn on this option (with forscan) setting when adding the Ford system with shock sensor (If not equiped)
These setiings allow you to disable the shock sensor and leave the perimeter switches activated (hood, doors, etc)

Has any one added the shock sensor to a truck?

I have installed the perimeter alarm (shock sensor) to a 21 XLT FX4. The device is enabled via ignition on/off, door open/close, brake pedal combination. The perimeter alarm does work but there is no Alarm menu.

At some point I'll attempt to enable the menu via Forscan.
