Alarm

My dealer charged me $700 for a alarm for my Lariat. Is that a OEM alarm? I have no manuals or anything for that.

I think it's a Karr alarm system.

From what I see from the Karr sight it might give you additional features like geo-fencing and the like but I would ask them to remove it as the OEM alarm system is fine. Only thing I've notice thats missing is a vibration sensor for glass breaks.

Ya, contacted the dealership to remove it.

there is a perimeter alarm that can be added on, but you can buy it for like 130 and add it on yourself. Does add a few features like vibration sensor and it is plug and play and very simple install.

Mine comes with the perimeter from factory but I don't think it has vibration.
