After market Headunit

HI all: I just purchased a 2020 Ranger XLT and was wanting to possibly replace the 8" factor headunit to put in an after market head unit that does wireless car play...I know that the factory 8" head unit does wired car play, I just want wireless. Apparently from crutchfield there is not head unit kit that works for the 2019+ Ranger(bummber). I was wandering if this is really true and wanted to see if anyone has replaced factory 8" head unit with an after market one. Thanks!

I don’t think you can easily exchange the infotainment system in the ranger. It’s more integral to the operation of the vehicle than a simple head unit like back in the 90s.

Thanks, not a huge deal for me, I was must hoping for wireless car play because I hate to keep my iphone plugged in all the time...but as i said no a big deal, I am getting new speakers/amp installed tomorrow!
