I just set up my new Interceptor OBD2 gauge on my 2022 Ford Ranger. I have it set to display trans temp and boost. When I start the truck the display does not illuminate until I hit the 2 buttons. I contacted support and they told me to try non Ecoboost option. I replied to them that it did not work and there has been no reply. Anyone have one that has been through this?

No. I've run into that problem before with another device. Just on normal startup with the key.

There’s a wire used for trigger I think… You have to wire that to something that is powered on with the ignition.

It powers up normally after I press both buttons at once.

Step 7 worked for me. I know it says it shouldn't be required but... it was for me.

Hmm...I will try that. Annoying to hit the buttons every time. Support was useless. Were did you get power from?

Agreed - The only time I have to hit the buttons is if I use remote start. Even then, it will kick on after 5-8 minutes. Startled the snot out of me when I forgot.
