I’m on a 17 inch rim and with that being said I was going to go with a 285 70 r17
With that 2.5 kit and smaller rims do you think it would be ok? How do you like those tires as I’m leaning on purchasing them after my kit is installed.

I think the slightly wider tire would cause scrubbing issues if the wheel offsets are the same. Mine clears the upper suspension by a hair . You can use a site like this to compare tire sizes.
