Adding Homelink

OK, I didn't notice the Ranger I bought didn't have the Homelink garage door remote built in. TBH I can't believe that a $42,000+ vehicle does not have a remote being a standard feature. I have to park my Ranger in the driveway and it makes me nervous to leave my remote in the vehicle. If someone broke in they have access to my home. Is it possible or has anyone added the visor with built in remote? I would much prefer that the remote will only operate if the key is in the on position like the homelink does.
