On my ranger I hear the low rumble of wind to the rear of the truck. I assume this is the same effect as the rumble one hears from an airplane on takeoff. However, I do see an ever so minor flutter within the rear view mirror. Should I try additional insulation in the bulkhead?

Or is wind drumming and rumbling across a tonneau a normal sound?

May need to adjust the tension. I have an Access Laredo and after installing I noticed that after a couple days the tension needed to be adjusted. Probably break-in time. I haven't had any issues since the adjustment.

That helps. I will monitor the tension. The Access covers are really nice. I have the Access Limited edition.

Yep, you probably know but the tension can be adjusted with the knobs on either sidewall towards the front of the bed.

Yep, had called Access Technical support a few days back and got a really nice tech. He said from factory they should already be adjusted. But like you said there is already some stretch that can be taken out.

Hi there neighbor. My roll up barely flutters ever so slightly but it's always tight when I latch it. It's on the loosest setting and it's still a little tough to close, so lots of room to stretch. (Just installed last weekend).

OK so just an update here.
Access Covers Tech Supportreally recommends leaving the tarp at factory tightness. For the Limited cover it’s 1/2 inch of the threads exposed.Otherwise there is a possibility that user will over tighten and pull the front aluminum piece so hard that it temporarily bows up in the air and let’s air in. A quarter turn if adjustment at a time is all that is needed.

What I found is that above the big seal on the bulkhead there is still a 1/4 void between up to the aluminum . I happened to have some .649 inch automotive D seal and stuck that on the aluminum header to fill the void down to the other rubber seal. https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B07V2N1...abc_C5E0AKQY0XVDJSJ4SKM9?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

Next the Access Cover tech mentioned two big square holes at the two top front corners of the bed. They are about 2x2 holes that can let air in.Some people use Butyl Windshield tape to make a blob of putty to fill these in. Right now I have rags stuck in these holes. Might try the butyl windshield putty tape unless I find some better non moisture holding void filler.

So far no low rumble or drumming from the tarp. Was cooler yesterday so will need to see if it is different on a hot day.
