My air conditioning will not come on or blow colder air at or just above freezing outside? Is this normal? Have a 2021 ranger with only 16 thousand miles. I have read in other places that this is normal that the low pressure switch sends a signal.tp the PCM to keep the compressor from running at these temps.

It's true, if it is the same as the global, then the air con will not turn on if the temp is close to freezing.

Thanks!! It's working now as it's just above freezing. Was just curious cause never really paid attention to that before.

You're welcome.
Well I admit its never actually happened to me, as it just doesn't get that cold here, but I do remember seeing it mentioned in the owners manual. (I ended up reading it as I was tired of my wife endlessly fiddling with the climate control whilst I was driving)
