ABS issues

This morning on my way to work the “service traction control” warning popped up. Few minutes later my cruise control stopped working. When I got to the shop and put it in reverse to back into my parking spot, the “hill start assist disabled” light popped up.

Did some searching around here earlier and from what I’ve read, it seems others have had this issue as well? When I get home today I plan on cleaning the ABS sensors and hopefully that works. I know I have mice at home (we live in the foothills and I see them everywhere) so I’ll check to see if there’s damaged wiring anywhere. Anything else I should look at?

Scan for the DTC codes to find the problem, otherwise you will be just guessing. The free program Forscan and a OBDII adaptor will read the ABS codes.

Gotta see if I can find my scanner when I get home. I remember letting my buddy borrow it a while ago and I don’t remember if I ever got it back lol

Scan for codes anyway. It may have a code stored in memory.
