Did I mention I hate meeses to pieces?

I noticed my cab taking on a smell, thought maybe decomposing leaves or just country dirt getting in. Did a lot of driving since I last changed my cabin filter, so I ordered another cheap one from Amazon.

Finally got around to changing it - removed the cover to the cabin filter...

Hmm, a lot of leaves. Let's see how much it's collected?

Aw crap, there's mouse turds in there too. Time to check to see if there's anything else in there:

Twenty minutes with the shop vac and I'm not getting everything out, so I drop the fan from under the dash (unplug power, take out three screws)

I'm feeling a little hostile now, going crazy with the peppermint oil spray since there is a LOT of insulation coming out:

That wasn't all of it either. I'm going to hunt the little bastard(s) down.
