Are F&R sensors active while AS-S has engine off and fully stopped ?

Does anyone know for a fact-- IF you are completely stopped at a STOP sign and the AS-S has the engine off, are the front and rear sensors still active ?

The rear sensors only work when in reverse. The forward sensors will still work in forward gear.

Hi Mike,

As I understand it, the sensors are inactive in front as well as rear until there is vehicle motion forward. Rears only work in reverse , This is from my buddy in the Ford Autonomous Vehicle group. I have not validated this but have no reason to doubt him...pretty smart guy...
