I don't know much about suspension in general. But I wanted to level the truck so I initially bought a 2.5-inch spacer and it's doing a great job except for a clunk driving slow over a speed bump. I'm going in tomorrow to get the front end retorqued
But as I am about to get tires I want to get adjustable shocks. Most of the shocks say for 4 wheel drive but they have Coilover struts for the front. I will think the two-wheel drive is a lot easier to put parts on as there's no Drive mechanics in the front end.
So I am not sure what size tire I will be able to use. I'd like to shoot for a 275 65 if possible. There's not a lot of room between the tire and the spindle as it is. Does anyone know if there is a brand of struts made for 2 and 1/2 to 3 inch lift. Eibach has them but they say it's for a 4WD drive it doesn't make sense to me that the fronts can only fit on 4WD
