Just keep in mind that the only tires available in that size are load range E. They are heavier and some here have complained about the mileage hit and ride. Others, didn't mind. I'm not trying to rain on your parade - really! :) It's just that I've read so many posts here about people who jumped into buying a certain tire size or wheel and then regretted it later when they didn't gather all the information they needed.

If it's the height you want, an LT255/75R17/c K02 is the same height as the 275, but 1/2" narrower. It's also 9 lbs. lighter.
Greedy I want both. More meat for the trails and add an inch to the height.

If I go with .5" spacers the closeness on the inner sidewall is basically a wash.
.25" is .35" closer to the steering knuckle. I don't know what that would like like visually. Doesn't seem like much.
Waiting on hearing about the loss o threads on the studs and is there a"tolerable" level?
