Anyone running these or have pictures? I don’t see many people dropping down to 16s but if off-roading with a 32-33 tire I think that’s probably the ideal size to get maximum performance. It also sort of gives the illusion of a bigger tire without the oversized 18 wheels.

I actually found a wheel in that size that fits and has +35 offset. Toyo AT3 makes a tire that size and probably others.

I’m very interested in this combo and wondering if it would clear with a level suspension like Fox 2.0 etc. What are your thoughts on fitment?

Sort of answering my own question here but I did some more digging.

the problem with this tire size regardless of fitment will be the load range. I just don’t want E rated tires on a ranger. Too much weight and no point for a truck this size.

I guess a 17 will be the way to go with 265/70r17 I wanted more tire so I’ll have to think long and hard if I want to deal with the minor requirements for going with 33s. Gearing is a major concern for me there I just don’t want to make the truck drive like a dog and place stress on the drivetrain due to being under geared for 33s. If I could gear up I would prob go 33s right away.

If you decide to go with 17's and want a 33 inch tire I suggest going stock wheels or OZ Rally Raid wheels with Firestone Destination XT Tires. They are not too heavy and have been proven to do well both on and offroad.

Just some input from another member is all.

We want to use 16" wheels if we can, and are looking for a tire about 33" tall. A 285/75R16 is the most likely choice, but we haven't made a decision yet.
