Turned 70,000 miles recently.
Truck runs great, recent dash fuel milage was 24.7 MPG. I know actual calcs will be a little lower.
Pretty sure the tremor fox suspension is shot. Rides like a hay wagon.
Just have a feeling the transmission is going to shit itself when I make the last payment soon. Weird knocks, in the drive line at low speed, occasional hard shifts that are becoming more and more.
Follow the Ford Maintenace plan and have a dealer do all the work. No catch cans, trans dip sticks, tunes, etc. Stock plugs, change the air and cabin filters myself.
Paint still shines with every few months car wash. Did sign up at the local all you can wash places for $30.00 a month.
Need tires, the generals are really loud and feel "wobbly", I do a rotation every oil change. I will probably spring for a set of MasterCraft. Have ran those for years on my past F 150s with zero issues.
The known "bucking surging" is coming back, I do have the replacement parts for that.
Overall, no real complaints, just known issues. With that, I am just ready to try something else. No real reason, just a lot of good vehicles on the market.
If I go Ranger again, it'll be a plain jane 4wd with a rear locker. I will change the suspension to a mild eibach set up.
