Sorry but that tuner is locked to your truck. Ford performance tune is vin dependent. Noone else can use that tune. Call them yourself they will tell you the same thing

Soo that tune you have for the 2022 is already locked for your truck(as in locked to the VIN of your 2022). That I am aware of this tuner can't be unlocked for another truck. If it was a Livernois tune then it can, but Ford may be picky and make someone buy a new tuner box for a different truck.

Unfortunately this will not work for anyone. Sorry to say this

from what i understand if you return it back to stock it is not locked to your vin. I will call ford performance and see.

It is still locked to the VIN. Allow me to explain. Before installing the tune you had to first download the information from your PCM on the truck in order for it save the specific factory tune information. This gets sent to Ford Performance and they build a tune specifically for that factory tune which is off that VIN. After that they send a new revised tune for the ProCal4 that you can install to the PCM on your truck.

This is the same process for each tuner out there including Livernois, 5Star and Unleashed.

The best part is they also have the VIN saved in the tune file. Because of this if I were to install said tune in another Ranger that has a different VIN it will brick the truck until the tune is corrected. I have seen this happen more than once

Once the voucher that came with that kit is used it is vin locked. Returning the vehicle to stock will not unlock it. It just returns the truck to stock. I have one for my mustang and it is vin locked also. I used my HPtuners mpvi2+ for my ranger with an unleashed tune. It's not vin locked just requires credits for each vehicle.

Should have left it in the truck when traded since that is the only vehicle it will work with.
