Anyone who is wanting to Install an LED tailgate system....here is something that will ease your frustration in finding the correct wire on the back-up/reverse circuit for your new LED lights....remove the drivers side taillight assy. On the XLT you will only have one plug going into the housing. The hot wire you want to tap into is the Light Blue wire (LT/BLU)....NOT the dark blue. That wire is for your tail lights. Instead of doing the splicing thing...I opted to solder the wires together. If your uncomfortable with soldering....go ahead and splice into the Light Blue wire. Check the operation BEFORE you reinstall the taillight and you're good to go. Hope you find the beneficial.....Thx

Any CANBUS errors after tapping into that wire? I've seen other folks say that isolators are necessary.
