Anyone attempt to remove the plastic floor storage bins?
I would like to so my dog has a completely flat even surface to lay on ( of course with cushioning)
I have seen other posts about building a raised wood platform to match the height of the bins, just think removing the bins might be a better way to go.
The floor will still not be flat. Drive Shaft Tunnel and sheet metal will still be there.

My 2011 Ranger has a much flatter floor. I just put some blankets down. A much smaller tranny hump. a lot less room in the back then the 5G Ranger. Works well for my 50lbs dog. The smaller area holds the dog tighter in the case of an accident. I would much prefer the large space though.

Yes my ‘02 was the same folded the jump seats back flat and put a couple blankets down, the floor was almost perfectly flat.

Not quite. The $118 part is actually the molded piece that goes between the seat backs. Just ordered part 40374 as above and it was $339.48 from the dealer. The upper part was $110 and is currently on back order.
