That moment of time when you’re half way… having the body work done makes it look like a skinny guy with a shirt that’s way too big.
Doing the suspension and wheels first looks like it’s wearing clown shoes ?.

Champagne dreams and beer money pockets is how I’ve been rolling ?.
Raptor take off rear shocks with higher mounting points, lift leaf springs, and longer shackles is my idea that's between beer and champagne ha. All the "long travel" rangers besides wicked creations are just a front end kit that's more like mid travel IMO

That sounds nice. For the rear leafs I’ve seen the deaver leaf springs mentioned a few times.. are they a full pack? Or are they just additional leafs you can add to the stock leaf pack?
The longer shackles is for additional lift?

… reading the Baja kits travel kit.. they seem to call it a mid travel kit themselves, so I’d say you’re spot on with your opinion. (Especially since they call it a mid travel and they make it.)
With the WC kit what makes it closer to long travel.. is it that it has poly urethane bushings instead of using the stock bushings like the APG kit?
It’s the length of the control arms?

.. sorry I’m just really curious about the finer details on how to spot smart well done suspension vs looks like it could but it’s lacking so and so item/features.

I’ve watched a few YouTube videos about long travel suspension.. I get like a “it gives you longer travel of the suspension and a place to put helper shocks a space, limit strap points, and you could even install hydraulic bumps stops.. it all sounds cool, however I start to feel retarded since I don’t feel confident in being able to say I know what makes it a true long travel suspension… wider track, longer control arms, axles, and longer coilovers/shocks.?
4 link, 3 link, cantilever, dual leaf pack, single leaf pack, and bed cage bypass.. that’s all easier to understand the difference.

Deavers are a full leaf pack, not add a leaf. They're thinner and have more leaves than most so they'll flex better. ?

There's no definitions as it's all relative to the application, I'm just categorizing it as mid travel as the rear is largely stock length shocks while the front is longer travel with UCAs and LCAs. Lotta different kits, but most seem to offer similar travel up front and just have Deavers and 2.5 reservoir shocks in the rear.

Would like to see someone review a linked Ranger, but that's not really this forum's cup of tea. There's a couple guys on Facebook that have given me some info on their setups, seems like most the longer travel trucks are in socal

So it’s been decided… Fox 2.5 factory race (unless they are sold out) with Camburg tubular UCA’s…
The camburg tubulars and Fox 2.5’s won unanimously ?…
I thought it was going to be either the camburg kinetik (it’s their billet anlumin control arms.) option or the BDS 3.5” lift kit…. I was obviously wrong.
Oddly enough you guys have saved me some money.

can’t wait to provide the necessary picture.

I was gonna ask how do you like the kinetiks? I figure the tubular ones are pretty solid product, the billets give you those (I think adjustable heim joints to the body.) which are a bit more robust and offer a little more range of articulation..
they look super slick. So I’m wondering if maybe I should just immediately return the camburg tubulars or just keep them and save $500 ?..
Yeah I went with Fox 2.5’s unfortunately the factory race steel bodies weren’t available (missed my window for those and I don’t want to waste 4-6 weeks on a maybe they will be available).. so I had to loose the extra couple hundred for the performance elite aluminum bodies..

(apparently a extra 1/4”-1/2” of travel space inside of the aluminum body..something to do with not having a threaded end cap like the factory race series… idk fox 2.5’s PE vs FR seems the same for the most part…except for the price gap?.)

Those Kinetiks do look awesome.?
