I’ve been wanting a tractor for the yard, ended up getting a Ford 9n. 4 cylinder, gas, 3 speed trans, 2wd. Buried it plowing a garden patch, had to pull it out with the Ranger. No issue at all for the truck!

hauled a lot of hay out of fields with a Ford tractor that looked like that in my early teens. I may have gotten stuck a time or two in soft spots in the field and had to get pulled out by the big tractor. Three generations of farmers screeching at me at that young age may be why I'm not a farmer now, nor do I have any interest in it.

Probably let the plow get to deep, those old Fords will just keep pulling.

I’m jealous of your matching tractor! My plan is to rebuild and paint stealth grey to match my truck. I hit a wet spot where a bunch of gophers lived and it dug in, I raised the plow as quickly as possible but the Tractor was already high centered!

I have a soft spot for the N series tractors. A group of guys from my church restored a 2N, and I went with it to Ghana for setup and training. And yes...we got it stuck once too
