I agree with this. The number of Ranger owners on this forum are but a small percentage of the total owners out there so take the problems here for what it's worth. 51,000 miles in a little over 2 years and the only 2 problems I have had were fixed under warranty. Great truck!
That show was Extreme Makeover. I worked on one of those houses and if I remember correctly, as you said, I think the family wound up losing that house as the taxes wound up being killer,
Surprised to see my name on that list as I seldom am lucky enough to win anything. At age 61 I think I deserve to take it a little easier.
Thanks Dave.
I have been running the Auxito LEDs for about 18 moths. "Light years" (pun intended) above the stock halogens. Once adjusted properly have not been flashed by any oncoming vehicle and visibility down the road is great.
The first spring I had my Ranger all I could get out of the ac vents was hot air. No change after replacing just the motor so dealer had to order the blend door assembly. That was 2020 and due o all of the shortages and backorders I didn't have ac until September. Has worked great since then.
Maybe someone knows better than I do but my thought is does activating the rear child safety locks so that the doors can't be opened from the inside disable the power door lock buttons? bJust a thought/question.
4th of July week made a trip to Knoxville, Tn. from north Iowa. Almost 2,100 miles for the trip with 90% of those miles with cruise set at 72 on the freeway. Both dash and hand calc came out 24.6 mpg for the entire trip.
Phil,
Going by all the posts here I think all will agree. You may leave the forum but a part of you will always be here in all of the people you have helped and touched. May the force always be with you!
Had same problem on my 2019 FX4. Turned out being the blend door assembly. To replace the dash has to come out. Dealer replaced under warranty although it took a looooong time to get the part. This was at the very beginning of the covid and factories were running only part time.
I had the same problem and no amount of switching settings or on/off would correct it. Dealer found a problem with the blend door assembly last spring and with the covid shutdowns and such finally received the part a couple of weeks ago. finally installed today and all seems to be working as it...
Just took 700 mile round trip over labor day 20/80 hwy/interstate. Going out got 27.5 mpg(hand calculated) and coming back against a headwind 24.9 mpg. I do notice that 70 mpg seems to be the point where i gain or lose mileage.
