Don't know whether it's related, but I did the SYNC upgrade on my Focus last week. Now FordPass is acting strange. For the Ranger the remote stuff works fine even though I get the prompt "FordPass isn't responding, please try again later". But for the location it shows a place I was at over a...
I did a quick search and didn't see where anyone had posted top speed in their stock Rangers. I don't know what my top speed is but I know it's at least 102 mph. Don't ask HOW I know, I just know!
Me and my Ford service manager were looking for Ranger recalls and TSBs today. He put in my name and my FordPass screen appeared on his computer. I did not give him my password.
A good friend is considering a used 2019 Fx4 crew for his business. He hauls a 2600lb enclosed trailer. What kind of mpg would he get combined in 30/70 city/hiway?
I did a 200 miler yesterday (one way) and returned today. Three observations. #1: My Ranger does NOT like 25-35 MPH crosswinds. It was all over the place. I shut down the Driver Assist cause it was driving it crazy. #2: My analog speedometer and my digital speed readout don't match. The digital...
Got a new phone? Well FordPass will still operate you vehicle from your old phone as long as it has a WiFi signal. I just tried it with my previous phone which has no cell service and it locked the doors and started it. Be sure to remove the app from the old phone before you toss it!
I'm sure there's a remedy, but my new Galaxy A50 and the Ranger don't want to pair correctly. Every time they get together I get the prompt "Pair new device?". I do but the next time I get in the truck I have to pair them again.
I got a message on my speedometer display today that said something like "Engine slowing reduced braking". Y'all ever seen that. I had about 400 lbs. in the bed.
Just did a 'waterless' wash on mine. This vehicle has more nooks and crannies than Yoda's belly. The XLT grille in particular. I can't see me wiping each one of those 'teeth' .
I have two vehicles on my FordPass. I just noticed that both of the pictures of the vehicles matches what I have. Model, color and even the wheels. Is that a coincidence or does the VIN give it the correct picture?
I hit 3000 today. It's important to know that when I drive my Ranger I'm in it all day. Three hundred plus miles per day. I did 377 today in the rain. Well, long story short, the more I drive it the better I like it. The ride is a little firm but it doesn't wear me out. The power is very good...
I don't want this to turn into a circus and I'm not trying to rile anybody up. Simple question: Instead of an LED nightlight has anyone tried a 110v USB charger? I wonder if the low current draw will fool the stop/start whatchamacallit.
