  1. Leaf pack questions

I think the OP is just trying to achieve a level ride without (or less) squatting. I second the OME heavy load springs (1 1/2ā€ lift). OME springs If it still squats try the BDS 1ā€ lift shackles, which would give you 2 1/2ā€ lift unloaded. What I did in my Nissan Frontier was to use firestone air...
  2. Help please for a non tire guy buying his first tires after OEM

Lol tires, ya like oil. I have had good luck with Falkens, Toyos & Nitto. All good tires in my experience. Great AT tires all and similar in design. I base my purchase these days on the 3 Peak rating as my climate with snow & ice require it. And for this smallish Ranger I am also basing my...
  3. Tried To Install Them On My 2023 Lariat……

Go ahead and cut up your nice Ranger with a sawzall to fit 40’s. We’re all watching. When you start with your ā€˜local hole in the wall tire place’, gives the idea you’re on the cheap. Sure ok, we’re all watching. Its your Ranger to destroy… Thinking mudhole rock beater (there were plenty at the...

  8. To tune or not to tune

Thanks OGM. Torque is what I am looking for. Usability, eco mindedly speaking thus thinking regular fuel.
  9. To tune or not to tune

I am looking to get a tune also… I hear peak numbers on 91-93 octane fuel, but I hope to run 87-89 fuel. What are Livernoise tow/haul gains on 87/89 fuel. Haven’t heard those numbers… Much over stock?

  12. What did you do to your Ranger today?

Yesterday… As a new owner of my ā€˜20 XLT w/36k I had a pretty full service done. Oil & trans fluid change (with LubeGard Platinum added!), brake flush, transmission re-learn, induction service, and the full inspection. My service writer said the vehicle was in excellent shape. I feel good about...
  13. Transmission question

I have it in hand and will ask in advance if they will add it. I consider LG a conditioner and not snake oil. Like some posi’s use an additive for proper operation, and another fave of mine… StarTron. A great fuel additive that rejuvenates older fuel & cleans your system. Years ago I used STP...
  14. Transmission question

As in an out of balance drive shaft? Never heard that before at such a low speed. So why the neutral feel between 1st & 2nd?
  15. Transmission question

I just purchased my ā€˜20 XLT with 35k on it 2 months ago. It now has 36k on it. I feel it shudders in 1st accelerating into traffic. When cold it feels like it goes into ā€˜neutral’ shifting from 1st to 2nd unless I really soft pedal it. I am getting the trans flushed on Friday. They are going to...
