I had a 2003 BMW convertible, I forget the exact model but it was the higher end, but not the M3. Best driving car I've ever driven, but warranty repairs for around $1500 every year. I sold it once the warranty ran out. Not sure if that's still the case or not, but I always heard similar...
My 2020 sometimes is stiff when I first get in. I just double pump it once or twice and then after that it's fine. Not sure why, but I can live with it.
I have a 2020 Lariat scab, FX4, and darn near everything on that was available (it was loaded, and I guess that's why it was still on the lot after 6 months). The sticker was around 45,100, and my final price out the door was around $42. I bought it in 2021 about a month before the market blew...
Yeah, I thought it was well known that a SCAB had been seen in the wild, yet people started immediately whining about there not being one so they are buying a TuRD.
I don't hate the 6G either. I like all the tech cause I think the 5G started outdated from the get go. If it gets PHEV then I'll give it a look. I have a 2020 that I bought new in spring 21 right before the market went nuts so I got a great deal on it since it had been on the lot for 6...
I have seen a cam that has an available power adapter that goes under the dash and connects to constant power and switched power, so it can record with vibrations, or maybe motion, not sure.
I also think the non NA rangers have a USB on the side of the box thingy behind the RV mirror. That...
What ever you get, just be sure it's 4K. I had some regular HD cams in my old car, and upgraded to 4K in the ranger. I used one of the old cams to point backwards.
Truth. My wife just bought a new volvo and it needed an update the first month. I didn't look into doing it myself because she had to go to the dealer anyway for something else.
Yeah, I've only updated by downloading to a USB stick. In order to connect to wifi I have to pull out of the detached garage to get a signal, so I just do it manually. Much easier.
I read this to mean everyone with this trans will be included or contacted? I've only got about 12K on my 2020 truck, and I'm not upset with it, but I sometimes notice a clunk or funky shift. I'm not losing sleep over it.
I had a drop in liner in my old 1993 toyota PU, pre Tacoma. It was the old type where the liner extended over the top edge of the bed... the newer ones seem to only come up to the inside edge of the bed since the beds now have the plastic guards on the top of the bed edges.
So, I don't have...
In a past life I would have loved to have available the 3D printing we have now. As I've gotten older, er, I really don't care. Of course, 40 years ago there was a lot of stuff that needed fixin.... now, not so much. UNLESS you have a 3D Printer!
Nice that this stuff is available, but I'm...
I really like having control over some options, though I didn't go crazy. I probably have about a dozen changes, give or take.
I didn't take backups of all my modules, but I did keep a spreadsheet of all the changes I made so I can put them back if needed.
I haven't changed anything for a...
I'm not really sure what or why they are doing it. I truely can't imagine the electronics to support AM would add $1 to the cost. And, there are still AM stations. Doesn't really matter if I haven't listened to AM for 40 years, someone else might.
I don't know. What's next, no more CD or...
Yep... It would need to be a scab for me, but I'd consider a lightning ranger. I don't tow that much and when I do it's only a small trailer w/UTV, but I'd need 250 mile range for a lightning. I'd much more like a PHEV, with like 50mile electric range, min.
