Frankly, there's nothing to say the 2 things are connected. If I read this correctly you had no problems for 7.5 months after install?
It's sort of a leap to try to connect the 2 events, but still, take it to the dealer and tell them to fix it.
I'd only upgrade if there was a PHEV option, and even then I may not update. Def needs some interior upgrades and bed step. I don't hate my lariat gauge cluster.
Oh, my.
I haven't come back often to the forum recently, and then I see this thread... My heart dropped because I thought the worst.
Glad you're still here, Tracy.
My experience with it is that when the usb gets corrupted it won't be able to connect to sync. Seems the sync system will periodically dork up the USB... It's happened 3 times to me, and the last time It complete bricked my USB stick. I have the same version as you.
But, to the other guys...
Before I did anything drastic, I would just wait a day. I've had my music want to re-scan, or rebuild the song list or whatever.
I've also had my USB stick get corrupted a few times and I have to reformat and reload the data. I'm trying right now to get one reformatted, but it looks to be too...
Well, I can't say you screwed up, or not.
When I found mine, it was after several visits to several dealers... some trying a bait and switch to get me to buy... and then I looked outside my area and found a truck with options that I wanted, and also with way more stuff that I didn't want, by...
My first change came at around 6K, give or take. I guess you could drive it a bit and see if the computer decides there's 25% life remaining on the oil, just as a test. But yeah, I'd change it by 6K.
Perhaps. She was trying to get the same or close to the storage capacity of her current XC70, which is a big station wagon. Escape was probably too small and the edge might have worked. Truth be told she was probably always going to buy a Volvo, but humored me and went to look at a Ford. I'm...
T8. I honestly wasn't paying attention to the specs, and I specifically didn't drive it because it's not mine and I wasn't gonna try to talk her out of, or into something. She was in the dealer last week for an airbag recall on her current car and already had looked at the cars. They didn't...
Yeah. I know. In my previous Outback, it had lite tan interior and it was fine. My wifes current Volvo has Tan. The new one isn't white, but it's very light. There are other options, and I probably would have preferred the brown which is darker, but not dark. Ain't my car.
I have the ranger for that stuff. I told her not to even get a hitch cause if we need that I have the truck. But, yes, it ain't for everyone, and don't get light interior. :)
True. I probably wouldn't have wanted that on the wheel. Maybe a can of 'leather cleaner wipes' is in her future. :)
We don't have kids, and when ever people with kids get in her car they say "holy crap, this car is clean!
It's not white, but it is whiteish. It's Sand. It's the closest they have to her current car (tan) and my ranger (sandstone, or what ever it is). The only other option was black/charcoal and she didn't like it. Her car, her choice.
The dealer said they get 'allotments', and they had 1 remaining allotment for a December build for the type of car she wanted. I guess there are still shortages, and in fact the new models don't have wireless charging because of the chip shortage.
Cool. the stock shortages are still there...
I hear you. My wife works at home and drives occasionally (me too, now, with covid lockdown and my IT job going mostly remote). She bought a new XC70 in 2002, and it has only about 120K miles in 20 years. My Ranger is 18 months old with 8k on the odometer, but I digress... she wanted a new car...
