Um... He was asking for advise for someone in a similar lease situation. He wasn't just coming her to lament his unemployment situation.
But I understand that some will suggest 'pulling ones self up by their own bootstrapes'
OP, I understand your original post, and as I said, hang on as long as you can... I'm sure you will find something else. Don't feel like you need to take "anything" out there just because. But, as I said, if you need to work then of course you can probably find something, but stay the course...
I'm not certain, but I've read it's actually .2 inches shorter. Not sure about the width. The increase of a few inches here and there are in the wheelbase, but not necessarily in the total size. But hey, I agree, I don't need the never ending creep of size.
Yep, I bought my truck in March 21, right before the market went nuts, and I'm certain the salesman and sales manager took turns kicking each other in the rear for the deal they gave me.
Sorry about your job. As asked, what is your tech background? I was never in the exact situation, but I've been out of a job a few times (also tech) and it took several months each time to land something else. Fortunately my wife was still working so we weren't in a situation where we might...
There's been pics of a 6G supercab in the wild. It's in camo, but it's been seen. I think other options will be available as time goes by... but yeah, if no supercab, then I won't buy one, I don't need/want 4 doors and a short bed.
Depends if they release a PHEV in a later model year. My wife just got a new volvo, and when I ride in it I realize how dated sync-3 is and I want the upgraded tech, but only doing it for hybrid.
Well.... you might want to ask someone here who has done the DIY seat removal in a scab. Or, look for the replacement seats for a scab. Or, since I assume you're going to need to do some fabrication to build out your storage, you can add spaces for some sofa cushions.
Yeah, they pretty much all suck, but they will spray the undercarriage and get the top layer of dirt off the paint. They won't touch a splattered bug though :)
See if you can find a touch-free car wash, the kind that just sprays soap and water. I stopped using the regular automatic car washes 25 years ago, but do use the touch free to do an undercarriage wash, and get some of the dirt off. We have property on a dirt road, so every time I come home I...
I did not know that. Mine was pre-taco, and I never got a recall notice. I never put many miles on mine, but as said, I used it on the beach several trips a year for 20 year and for hunting trips, but otherwise it just sat. I guess everyone else knew what I didn't. I finally decided to sell...
30 years ago I used some of that stuff you rubbed on with a rag, and it worked well. Then the rust eater paint came out, that's what I call it, but that rustoleum is probably the stuff.
I have this funky iron wine bottle holder that spend some time outdoors and rusted. I sprayed it with that...
When I sold my Toyota, I had a lot of guys fighting for it. Evidently those things are well known in the construction field because they are indestructible and cheap. Every person who looked at it either wanted pics of the frame or looked at the frame when they came... there is one particular...
I had a 93 toyota PU that I used on the beach. I had it 20+ years and the frame was covered with rust far worse than that. Should you be worried? Can't say, but I wouldn't be. If you want, get some of that rust eater paint and give it a sprits. IMO, it's probably fine.
