I just picked up the Ranger for the first trip to dealer for fuel dilution of 4.3%. I changed it myself for the first time after 860 miles and the oil reeked of gas smell.
I opened a Ford Customer Complaint before taking it in per suggestion of Forum, which was a great suggestion.

Did you replace front and rear diff at the time of your first oil change? What about transmission? I seem to be reading that most people who performed "other" fluid changes at the time of their first oil change, found mostly the rear differential was the dirtiest?
