All of the Ranger trims show the gears, and can have the display turned on or off. Simply press the + or - gearshift button on the side of the gearshift lever to turn the gear display on or off. Whichever way you have it set when you turn off the vehicle, will be set when you re-start the...
2 years into the Sync 3 on my wife's Fusion Sport and all the FordPass functions, including Remote Start, still work. I think it MAY be that we have to start paying after 5 years, but not completely sure on that.
Wow, that's a great price for what they are. So I'm looking for something that I can throw on whenever needed to take the dog along, then pull off when not needed. After putting the cover on on & taking off a couple of times, would you say you could throw it on in 5 minutes or so before a trip?
Let us know what you think about them once you get some use out of them. That's a good price. I'll need something for the dog, to protect the leather back seat, since I'm giving up the massive floor area that I have in my F250.
What did they charge you for shipping?
So far, I've only found a few rear seat options, and the best looking/fitting one so far appears to be the one offered by Ford Accessories. Only available in grey though. Not cheap either.

It's a cost issue. Manufacturers have to slowly implement added costs, because ultimately, it gets passed on to consumers.
Frankly, EVERY EcoBoost motor in Ford's lineup should have both port and direct injection. It will happen, but unfortunately it will take some time.
I had heard, a good...
I've been lucky with my truck so far. But last June on a Saturday, I happened to drive my 2015 Mustang GT to work. On the way home, I realized I needed a box of screws to start my new kitchen cabinet install on Sunday, so I stopped at HD. I was in and out in about 5 minutes. As I'm about to open...
Is your dealership smaller? Are there other dealers in Florida having the same issues with the Rangers? It could also be a regional thing.
There are certainly regions that Ford sends certain types of vehicles to faster and with more frequency. For example, Mustangs hit warmer states like Fla...
Something else that probably comes into play is what's called wholesale allocation. Bigger volume dealers get more allocation and more often than smaller volume dealers, so that could be some of the reason why some of you seem to be waiting so long.
Frankly, I'm not seeing these long waits on...
That's not entirely correct. There is a period of time that changes can be made so long as things haven't progressed too far, even after a VIN has been assigned. You'll have to check in with your dealer and have them see if it is still possible to make a change. Sometimes they'll have to submit...
I love Icon's products. Made a world of difference on my Super Duty on rough Forest Service roads. If I do decide to lift my Ranger at some point, it will be an Icon kit for sure.
The premium seems to hold its sheen and black color a little better at our elevation. The standard Line-X loses it's sheen, and therefore doesn't look as black further down the road. Guess it depends on how shiny black brand new looking you want your bedliner to look inside the bed. The...
There was a stock problem back in January for a couple of weeks, but it sounds like the supplier has restocked and there shouldn't be any delays on the ones ordered from the factory from here on out.
There is only one keypad available through Ford Accessories that is compatible with the Ranger's keyless entry system, so be sure you find the right one. However, it sounds like the one through Ford Accessories will not be available until sometime 2nd quarter. It may be slightly different from...
This will be the heaviest very occasional load for the Ranger - 7,000 lbs total.
This load will probably happen a few times each summer on the dual axle flatbed trailer to get to the occasional show or rally - 5,800 lbs total.
The 3.5L since 2018 added port injection back into the motor, so valve "coking" not an issue. The 2.7L & 2.3L only have direct injection, so coking can be an issue. Over time, buildup can occur, decreasing engine efficiency. Issues start becoming noticeable around 100k miles. Up till then, the...
What is causing people to become worse drivers are all the features like those that keep you in your lane, brake for you, adaptive cruise, parallel & perpendicular park, etc.
Yes, all convenient bits of tech, but it is causing more and more folks to pay less attention to their driving, knowing...
