My replacement was supposed to be better than what the original was, obviously it wasn't as the stitching behind the pleather was different from the original. Which nobody has figured out why the parking break boots are cracking but not the shifter boots.
Two sides of the coin, on the issue. One is that some people are very and pardon being blunt but if ignorant. One thing that honestly left me speechless in the industry was that yes people believe despite manufacturers, commercials and letters mailed that recall work is free, owners actually...
I quoted as Sealed Beam Style not directly Sealed Beam. Sealed Beam Style were still OEM into the 90's. When you look at the turning point if about 98' 99' the lenses housing went to clear plastic Composite which was safer. Look at Japanese Imports compared to their home market as a reference. I...
Self leveling headlights are becoming common and the US has now caught up in just under 20 years of what Europe has for lights that adjust via steering to shine around corners as you drive on curves or turn on city streets etc... 14'-22' Grand Cherokees with LED/HID headlights are self leveling...
You are correct, lighting laws for the US are extremely archaic. It wasn't till the early 2000's that "Sealed Beam" style headlights were no longer mandatory. The major issue is that there is the law still on the books which require High and Low Beam headlights to be on a separate circuit. It's...
Well the question has been answered, noticed this morning when I went shopping, cracked. Around either end of this month or December I will be heading in for the next oil change. I will mention it out and see what to be done.
Nissan should have just kept it the same across the board since the Frontier was the name badge used for the US. It was called the Navara globally same truck just with Diesel Engine Options. Nissan decided to pull a Toyota and differentiate the two trucks. Because they said owners wanted really...
So it seems while I had a successful update and the software is current, and I followed instructions. I removed the the USB stick when instructed but no .xml file was uploaded to the USB after the update occurred.
Why when I had my Grand Cherokee I absolutely refused to use the lock and unlock feature on the fob. I used the button inside the door to lock when I got out, and of course I had the hand sensor for the door handle to unlock. Key stayed in my pocket at all times. Insurance won't cover any...
No Iowa isn't exactly flat but we have more than plenty of corn to go around. Having lived here for about 35 years we have corn and soy beans. Plenty of Hog Farms too.
I worked for U-Haul, aside the cotter pin there's a crushable plastic washer that is also used when using their hitch ball and mounting it to a receiver. They work perfectly, can't tell you how many I've done and I have one or two myself that are 2 inch drops incase I need to tow.
I used to work for Tires Plus. Had a customer with a Mercedes M-Class who wanted a new battery put in and for a C or E-Class. Now at that time it was just a standard $19.95 install fee. We sold Interstate Batteries, and Interstate glass mat batteries were not too bad like $150. The guy throws a...
I hated when AT&T bought out Cingular because my service went from Grade A to F overnight. To say T-Mobile beats them is a serious insult too since T-Mobile absolutely sucks. I had Sprint when they were bought out and my phone Signal went to crap almost overnight. I had to have Wifi in my apt...
Update is good, everything checked out. Noticed that Android Auto isn't lagging so much now. What I mean by that is the basic upper right hand corner display on the screen for outside temperature according to your phone phone signal and battery fully show up in a couple minutes opposed to one...
Update took about 10 minutes, system restarted and told me full changes would be after I restart the Ranger. So will see in the morning when I get to work if the update is fine.
Have the update downloaded and extracted to my USB drive. Plan on taking the long route home and installing as I go, being pretty much all highway I'll still burn less fuel than dealing with stop and go and possibly idling for several minutes when I reach the apartment.
