Need wheels for my '21 Tremor
I'm looking for 17" steelies, cheap preferred.
I might go 16" with an extra set of tires, but at this point I have 2 sets of R17 tires (OEM General ATX and Hankook iPikeX) with just the stock OEM wheels.
When I had Jeeps, wheels were so easy to find, but the...

Like I said, I'm running Hankook tires. I'll try and get cool steelies for next winter. The General tires and Raptor wheels will be for summer.
Something with deeper offset to avoid scooping ice/snow
Sorry to hijack again, but I have some annoyances.
The cameras and sensors: we are blizzarding up here, and the dash keys popping up "camera blocked" or "parking sensors offline" or something dumb like that. It's just annoying as I'm in white out, ice covered conditions and my truck keeps...
Sorry to hijack this thread again. Mini snow storm (relative) this morning. Commute was extra slippery. Had to run it in 4wd to prevent from spinning my tires even with traction control on. But in 4wd with tires and sand bags, ran great with no slippage.
My brother always said "you'll know what's wrong when it finally breaks".
Not the best philosophy on a brand new vehicle but I tell myself that when I get paranoid about mechanical stuff.
Unlucky for me, I have a few days experience with this in my Tremor.
Here's the long version.
So I live in Alaska. It's an odd place. This year has been brutal as I've had snow at my house over a month now. So our roads are garbage. I live on the side of a mountain and our roads are generally...
For weight, I added 7-60# bags of sand. So 420# total. Probably overkill and I might decrease.
And now I have new iPikes on her. I live basically on a mountain pass and it handles icey roads in 2wd with the studs and weight.
Plus, the traction control is there, but it takes a bit to interfere...
The 3.6 Pentastar is a fantastic engine. Jeeps hold their value.
I'd get the Jeep, drive it for a few years, by then the Bronco will be more available and cheaper and bugs worked out, hopefully.
Then get your Bronco, sell the Jeep for little loss.
That's what I'd do.
This fall was very odd and awful, we've had snow on/off since September.
It does ok in the snow. Tires are obviously the biggest factor. I've run the Grabber AT2 as an all year tire on a Jeep XJ in Indiana and Pennsylvania, did great. These Grabber ATX are no different.
Having said that, I...
Not really the best, just joking since it appears a bunch of Ranger Tremors were delivered this week!
Just got mine in, took many months and lots of indecision. It's the first car I've ever owned that wasn't over 15 years old!
I absolutely love it. Got to play in the snow on the drive home...
Well this old rendering looks moderately accurate. In reality, it will look good in Raptor off-road firm because everything looks good in the beefy version.
Sad thing, looks like the lines of the real one are more "fluffy" and less "angular" than this old rendering.
I hated the blizzaks, unpopular opinion.
But I run studs now. Hankook iPikes are the most popular up here in Alaska since we are close to Asia.
Plus they perform great.
Had great luck with unstudded Cooper weather master, Cooper evolution, General Arctic, Firestone winter forces.
Terrible...
