Here is a logic bomb for you...
I had a hybrid Ford Fusion. When I kept it in the garage or under a tree or covered parking, I got GREAT gas mileage during the summer. But when I parked in the sun, I got horrible gas mileage. The reason? AC takes energy and the more work your AC has to do...
Previously I have reported elsewhere in this forum when the topic arose that my 2019 XLT did NOT light up. It's a February build date. Tonight I went out and checked and son-of-a-gun it DOES light up. Which should tell you exactly how much I've not looked at it in the last 600 days. So very...
AZ allows for pretty dark though and for good reason! I hate it when I see people move here from CA or CO and the front windows are untinted. What's the friggin point?
Lots of people here have a light tint on the FRONT windshield glass (legally a no-no). I ask how they get away with it and...
Every time we have bought and sold a car they wanted the title - oops forgot it in the safe at home. So it was an extra $50 fee. No big deal. On my last two purchases, I actually remembered the title, brought it with us, and was told, "Oh? A paper title? Yeah, we don't use those around here...
Passed this awesome ranger on the way out of work yesterday. I'm thinking the amount of modifications he / she has done to it, they have had to have come by this site at one point or another. Possibly a member. I'd like to know more about this awesome set up. Maybe have lunch in the parking...
BAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHA! YES! Toyota FTW on how to F-Over the literally most dedicated customer base in the world. T-Boyz make J-Boyz look rational. At least Jeep fans usually only get a Wrangler but them T-Boyz love their trucks so much they make the wife drive a Toyota Sienna and kids get a WETF...
Funny this thread came up again. This weekend I was just thinking about going to a full size tire (I upgraded my tires to the largest no lift no rub size) and wheel under the truck. Was going to start looking around for salvage yards and other places that might have just one wheel and...
I have been known to go ahead and replace the roll after what is left is less than 1/4 of a roll. I put the new roll on the dispenser with no care given to the orientation because it works in either direction. Then I rest the stub roll on top pf the new roll.
.......and I have been yelled at...
Brands? No.
But out here in AZ he silicone blades tend to last longer and resist baking on to the glass. They are more $$$ obviously and harder to find but they do work.
Yes.
May be different between 2019 and 2021/22 because of changes in supply and vehicle updates but a XLT in 2wd or 4wd has the same springs and shocks.
I posted up on this early on when I got my '19. I don't recall an answer and I couldn't find the original post via search. We've also had a lot of new folks far smarter than I join since then. Pardon the re-ask....
Is it possible to replace or amend / enhance the stock cell antenna with one...
Wife doesn't really understand this. She wants a GR Supra 3.0. They are $55k new IF you can find them. All she sees are used ones in the car lot and they want $75k. She understands the chip shortage but not that her new car is being ablated by the sun every day.
I was planning to get her...
Just noticed a sponsor with no posts in their forum. Are they new? Do they just not post up? Would be handy if they threw a www our way. Kinda the point of being a sponsor is getting a little press.
What ever happened to the Ford myColor LEDs? Wife had a 2005 (IIRC) Mustang Convertible that came with this feature, you could change the color of your LED lights that lit up the foot-wells, cup holders glove box interior, dash gauge cluster etc. They were all preset colors but there was like...
Makes me wonder what they are going to do when they finally get chips and these cars have been there for two or three years. I know the rental market wont care but people don't want to go to a dealership and buy a brand new off the truck vehicle from 2019 in 2023. They will have to HEAVILY...
