No matter what I buy - if I find myself headed towards a big box store, I stop and make myself think of three Mom and Pop stores that I could get it at. Sometimes it changes my direction. Sometimes I need maxi pads, snack-a-pack pudding, 9mm ammo, a quart of motor oil, charcoal, and AAA...
Legally in Arizona if you raise the stock ride height of the bumper more than 2" IIRC, then you are required to run mud flaps. Has to do with th amount of rocks on our roads that end up in windshields.
I just think that after cars and trucks being around for 100+ years, some one could do a...
WHEW!
A lot of places try to put E load rated tires on a Ranger. Even if you load your truck to capacity you are still using 60ish% of a C class load rating. E Load rated tires are waaaay overkill.
Anyone know if there is a place like FedEx Office that will let you bring in a design and print it? I don't have enough need for a 3D printer but occasionally I need a little something printed.
Back in my Nissan Xterra Day's over on Border-Phreak's page "Xterra Firma" a lot of the guys were upgrading to PB packages. I upgraded to a set of drilled and slotted rotors up front. Logo and web site looks similar-ish but I can't confirm if that's the same company or if it has changed owners...
What Load Rating did you get? Hoping you say C, but they may have sold you higher. If so they are going to ride a little rougher.
I'm running C and I keep mine at 36 cold. They started at 40 or 42 and rode harsh. I did a little math about what PSI and load rating was appropriate and it came...
How much stuff can they spray on your car in 260 feet?
Pre-Rinse
Soap
Rinse
Wax
Spotless Rinse
What else is there?
When my daughter was young I would tell her that three color foam (blue yellow pink) was a Unicorn that just shit on us. She laughed all the way through the car wash.
The local spinny microfiber wash near me does a great job but it doesn't get the macho mud off the step rails, rocker panels, and wheel wells.
So after finding inspiration in this post, I went on Google and found me a wand wash. Took it down and got a cheap "topless wash" just wheel wells...
I have always wondered why they come out and introduce themselves as "your service advisor" and tell you that they will always be there and you should always call and ask for them. Give you a business card even. I know that when I need an oil change or some other service, by the time I get back...
Go find the tire fitment master thread. Print it out - all of it, some 87 pages. Then print this out - currently at three pages. See if it will convince him that he needs to put the tires on your truck.
If not, there's a reason Costco is cheaper and has a better warrantly - because they are...
Do make sure you log in to You Tube and leave this bone head a comment. It's the only chance we have of keeping future generations of people from going down this path.
Does your money have George Washington on it? Case closed. They all need customers to pay them so they can meet goals and quotas on revenue forecast. Dealerships make more money from service than sales. They may prefer to use one warranty company over another because it's easier to get...
As long as the microchips are in good condition, everything else can be replaced.
Kinda surprised hey didn't grab one of the new ones supposedly sitting in storage (waiting on chips) and just stick the chips from the old one in it.
Solid advice and in a lot of cases, that's exactly what I do. Especially where jump starting is concerned. I fried the CPU on a Titan causing a $1200 repair to jump start a Cherokee someone had just bought at auction for $800. If you are with in cell phone range, I'll stop and offer...
I would love a touchless or wand wash. Sadly I haven't seen a touchless one since we moved to AZ (too much water use?) and they only seem to put wand washes in the chitty parts of town. Last time I did find a wand wash, it cost as much in quarters just to do the outside as a full Super Deluxe...
Must be that popular
...says the guy who leaves his dancing banana out for all to see.
I was thinking this must be the popular 307a Body Delete Option or the Ranger Version we are shipping to Sweden with a shit load of body panels, nuts bolts and screws as revenge for what they did to us with...
I started this thread on March 12, 2020. FINALLY today I have my flags mounted.
Drive through washed. Clay bar'd the area where it goes. Wiped with alcohol.
Measured and applied.
Got the stickers from Amazon from a shop called AZ Auto Graphics which is ironically just 20 miles from me. UPS...
