My tires have been rubbing somewhere, somehow. Couldn't figure out where. Finally tonight I see this piece on the Driver Side is lose and ripped up and getting into the wheel. Gotta get it fixed.
Yes the airbags come from the seat back bolster on the outside.
Yes there are seat covers marked "Air Bag Safe."
Yes all seat covers - even airbag safe - will "interfere" with the operation of your airbag.
The reason is that, even the airbag safe ones, provide additional layers of fabric and...
My 2006 Nissan Titan 5.6 2wd UnModified towing the largest Uhaul Trailer they make and loaded for bear got 14 MPG hauling Houston to Phoenix. Lowest spot was 11 coming through the Davis Mountains in West Texas.
Can we not put some of @AzScorpion 's Dee Zee Lucas Damper Conditioner Oil on it and get it to soften up? LOL - In jest but seriously, is there some sort of penetrating oil or conditioner like you put on dash and leather to keep is soft supple and pliable?
I'm constantly amazed when I go off road and up some areas that I think I should have my head examined for going to - in 4LO - only to get to the top of the mountain or 5 miles down a ravine to find a 2016 Honda Accord with Rims on it.
WTF!!!! WADAFA???? How did that get in here!?! Was it air...
I've never really had a need for Tire Chains so I never learned how to use them. And in Phoenix, I doubt I ever will. But we are on the north side of town and just 20 to 30 minutes north of us it goes from 2,000 ASL to 5,500 ASL and my daughter goes to college an hour north where it does...
I work from home and use the truck on the weekends. Also travel a reasonable amount given Covid putting a crimp on travel for most folks. Wednesday I have a reminder to remote start the truck and let it idle for 5 minutes. You can schedule a start on the app if you don't want to think about...
Ah.... Looking at the Safety Data Sheet it looks like they toned down the MEK to <5% of total in favor of Toluline 50%, Acetone 20%, Methanol 20% The rest is MEK, 2-Butoxyethanol, and 2-Propanol. I wonder if they had to do that to get the "Catalytic Safe" rating.
Berryman's use to use, and I think still does use MEK - Methyl Ethyl Ketone. Great stuff for cleaning up all sorts of goo and gunk but I wouldn't use it regularly (haven't used it in maybe 12 years) and if you do, I wouldn't ever mention it to the shop. They'll blame TPMS failure on MEK.
This is what I used - Fuel Treatment: Upper Cylinder Lubricant with Injector Cleaner and Fuel Conditioners. But again... Not sure it is worth running in a direct injection engine. Our engines also have (if I recall corectly) looser tolerances betwen the rings, pistons and side walls to promote...
Mehhhh......
I'm kind of a "today's gas is still beter than yesterdays gas" kind of guy.
Back when gas was 89¢ a gallon there was a difference in additives and quality between Premium, Mid-Grade, Regular, and Leaded - even if they all came from the same gas station and out of the same gas...
