  2. What did you do to your Ranger today?

Applied Raptor liner spray-in bed liner today. Prep was a pain, but spraying itself was pretty easy. Looks good so far, time will tell how it holds up.
  3. Beautiful Pictures

A couple of landscapes from the last year and a half or so. First pic is a family ranch in south central South Dakota, the second a cabin in the Black Hills of SoDak.
  4. "There Are Basically No Sales"

While I generally agree that there will be incentives stacked on top of good financing deals, I'm not sure excess inventory will be that big of an issue. The difference with this pandemic caused recession is that pretty much every manufacturing plant on the planet is turned off, so there's...
  5. Has Anyone Extended The Axle/Transfer Case Breather Lines? Is It Necessary?

An overkill version of what you're referring to does exist on the market today. They are generically called "P2 Hybrid Transmissions" that sandwich a large electric motor/generator between the engine and torque converter. ZF makes one, and so does Ford - called the 10R-MHT. The new Explorer...
  6. Michigan WTS - SE Michigan - Gator SFX Soft Tri-Fold Tonneau

PM Sent - Cover was on the truck for about 7months.
  7. Show Me Your Kitties!

The cats are really concerned about me working from home. They gotta make sure to check my work, and if I get distracted by games, they say "no more!". They also know how to act cute to get their way
  8. My first 4WD-help with the basics please

    1. If there's a fair amount of snow/ice on the ground and you are driving at slower speeds or in mainly straight lines, then you are okay to keep in 4x4. Just avoid hard turns on dry/wet pavement, as the system can bind. If it's mostly just wet and dry, your truck will be fine even in 2wd mode...
  9. Another Hypothetical 'Will it Tow' Question

First and foremost, I would say that us Ranger owners dont seem to question the towing abilities of our truck like the Tacoma crowd does. I'm sure you'll get other responses saying that the setup you're looking at is within the capability of the Ranger, and there are few concerns with maxing out...
  10. Bed topper wiring

Answered my own question. Was able to tap into the rear tail light harness to get a clean 3rd brake light signal. https://www.ranger5g.com/forum/threads/third-brake-light-for-softopper.6784/
  11. Softtopper now available for 2019 ranger

If anyone is interested in adding a 3rd brake light to their softopper, here's a short write-up of how I did mine. https://www.ranger5g.com/forum/threads/third-brake-light-for-softopper.6784/
  12. Third Brake Light for Softopper

Recently added a Softopper to my Ranger. Love the top so far, but am concerned about the lack of third brake light. I realize this probably isn't that big of an issue, but I'd hate to be a victim of someone texting and not able to recognize my brake lights, or a LEO having a bad day, so figured...

  15. Odometer shots

We love the Ludington area! Have yet to be there during the winter, but hope to hit a weekend sometime this summer. Michigan's west coast is such a refreshing change from metro-Detroit lol
  16. Odometer shots

On my way to work this morning.
  17. Look at my Ranger parked next to stuff

Watching me from the street while I change the brakes on the wife's Edge Sport. (Plus bonus shot of said brakes)
  18. Fuel in oil

Pulled an oil sample about a week ago at around 2000 miles on my current oil. Got the sample back and 'surprise', there's fuel in the oil ?‍♂️ The interesting thing this time around is that I didn't observe a noticeable increase in the oil level; it's consistently been right at the top hole on...
  19. No, Not Again!

Man, I can appreciate keeping the truck clean (I've washed mine 2-days in a row now), but refusing to drive in the rain? Seems like a waste...but to each their own I suppose!
  20. Bed topper wiring

Anyone have pics/instructions on how they did this? Is there an aftermarket adapter for the 4 or 7pin harnesses? Did they just splice into the brake/turn signal lights? Just wondering if this is the easier solution for the 3rd brake light. The Ford Body Builder's guide shows tapping into the...
