I realize most of this thread discussion is with the plastic molded splash guards, but here's another Ford alternative if anyone wants to see how they look. These are the "Premium Flat w/o Bright Accent" splash guards. They are nice heavy rubber and have the Ford Logo stamped/molded on them...

Yeah, the attachment would be the other issue. I think most aftermarket covers for the Tacoma mount to the accessory rail. My Ranger cover (Gator SFX soft tri-fold) just uses simple clamps under the bed rails, so at a minimum you'd likely have to replace those. I figure the mat is covered 98%...

From the front of the bed to the front (inside of the tailgate) is about 60". Between the bedrails (the inside of the bed) is 55". I kept the mat from 2017 Tacoma. I had to trim about 2in from the front (although I'd recommend trimming from the back if anyone wants to keep theirs). Looks like...

Hey all, New owner here too, picked it up last weekend and enjoying it so far. Came from a 2017 Tacoma, and a couple of Escapes before that. Also have an Edge Sport in the garage. Pretty happy with the Ranger so far!
