The best part is you need the subscription to use the remote start function from the key. My mother has a 2016 Lexus and had to get the subscription to be able to use her key to remote start but in the middle of last year Lexus discontinued the subscription service. Now she can't use the remote...
Thats enough for me! I'm going to locate an air dam and go for it!
Philanderer, I pm'ed you but I'm guessing shipping will cost me more than the price of a new air dam or finding one from someone in my area. Either way thank you for the offer!
Has anyone tried adding the full factory air dam on an FX4? I was thinking of seeing if I could throw the factory air dam from a non-FX4 on my FX4 to try to pickup a few mpg while commuting since I'm only going offroad a few times a year I could remove it as needed.
not sure if its just my cap but I have a wavian jerry can that is supposed to work with capless tanks but it wont go in. I ended up getting a noncarb wavian filler neck from overseas and it fits perfect, the only difference is the noncarb one is a slightly larger diameter which also matches up...
I've been running royal purple in all of my vehicles over the last ten years. Used to run mobile 1 in my cars but they all burned oil until I switched to RP, Ive also noticed the engine feels smoother and my mileage doesn't change as much between oil changes.
I have the ford performance fox 2.0 kit, the ford performance 91 tune and I am almost exclusively running shell vpower 93. Day to day driving like a masshole on my 20 mile commute I average 22ish mpg, if I baby it on the highway I'll usually be able to get 30-31mpg. Towing my squaredrop camper...
Coming from a GX470 that has been the most reliable vehicle I've ever owned I strongly considered another GX, a 4Runner or a Tacoma but at the end of the day the gx was way too expensive and the toyotas are guttless and get bad gas mileage. I can tolerate low mpg if I'm getting power in return...
Ford pass Remote start. | 2019+ Ford Ranger and Raptor Forum (5th Generation) - Ranger5G.com
The TLDR is upping the bms charge level up to 80% via forscan fixed this issue for me, you could also have a failing battery. The truck monitors the battery charge even while off and will disable...
I have only had mine go into deep sleep while sitting for extended time but I have had issues with remote start from ford pass on cold mornings and also the auto engine shutoff not working at all. I upped my battery charge percentage from 75% to 85% using forscan, this resolved all of the issues...
Another update, after upping my bms charge level from 75 to 85% I have had no further issues on using fordpass to remote start for three consecutive days at or below freezing. I did also notice my 12v outlets are staying on for at least an hour after shutting the truck off so I wonder if they...
Last night I upped my battery charge percentage from 75% to 85% via forscan, I saw some other threads on here about our trucks going into deep sleep when the temperature drops below freezing and wondered if thats the issue. The other thing I noticed is I had a few fault codes, I will post those...
I had something similar, wouldn't start via the app but no issues with the fob. I drove about a mile and shut it off then used the app to start it while heading into a store and it worked fine.
My 19 Lariat kept giving me an error this morning while trying to start from the app but it was running when I went outside. I use the app every morning to warm it up while I'm getting ready, the only other times Ive had issues with the app is while parked underground.
