Congratulations on your new truck! There is a lot to like about the Ranger. I’m enjoying my Ranger as well. The one thing that bugs me more then my mirror switch not lit, is the fact that the rear sliding window is not powered. I can’t wrap my head around the fact that the top trim level has...
I’m pretty sure it’s not going to work on the US 2019 Ranger. The part number for the one I got was DZ43206 and the two brackets in the kit I got were slightly different then the ones in the photo for the DZ43204.
No issues. As others reported, I used a T50 torx socket with a wrench and it came right off. Definitely took some effort to free the bolts, but not more then I expected.
That’s truly unfortunate that you are having continued issues with the app. I’ve enjoyed the features of the app myself and was thankful reinstalling it worked. It’s better than the Mercedes Me app that my wife has for her car. Are you using an android or IOS phone? (Just curious).
I had the same problem with mine. It wouldn’t show the location or the current millage in the vehicle details. But I could still lock and unlock the doors. To fix it, I deleted and reinstalled the app and it started working again. I have an iPhone. I hope that helps.
Same same for my truck. I downloaded anyways and I’m going to see what happens when I plug in the usb tomorrow. It’s gotten a little to late tonight to mess with it.
Ah crap. I was sure I had the required T50 torx bit but I don’t. The largest I have was the T40. But with the magic of Amazon, the T50 is on its way and will be on my doorstep for me when I get home from work tomorrow
It’s kinda surprising that a company who builds these dampers hasn’t noticed the demand for a damper and developed one by now. Supply and demand is sort of failing on this item right now. Whoever comes out with these first is going to make some serious profit. I’m still waiting to give someone...
Definitely getting an alignment. I have an appointment this afternoon. I’m also going to make a little adjustment to the headlight aim as well. I plan on keeping the stock wheels and tires for now, but I’ll go a little bigger eventually.
I installed a 2.5” leveling kit today. I’m liking the transformation of the truck without the drastic lower front end. Tomorrow I get the alignment done.
