I’m going for it!! I downloaded and updating 3.4 as I type this. I have my truck connected to a 6amp battery tender. I hope it keeps the truck on through the update.

No, it doesn’t give any dimensions like that. But sighting down the side of my truck, I measured and it sticks out about 1-1/4” beyond the crease in the door that sticks out the most. Looks like it sticks out about as much as the top of the rear fender. The bottom of the step is 11-1/2”...

I have the Lariat as well and I have the buzz.

I don’t have any visual stimulation to go with this post but I changed my oil today with 4839 miles on it. Used full synthetic and motorcraft FL-910s filter. Pretty simple oil change. I rotated the tires about 200 miles earlier.

I would be interested as well. I was pocking around ForScan last week for something unrelated and I don’t remember seeing anything about “surveillance” that stood out. So if it’s there it is probably called something less specific. I would have been “triggered” by the term “surveillance”...

Interesting, I have a Lariat and it had the seat heater icons to control the seats from the screen stock from the factory. I wonder why some have it and some don’t?

I notice in one of the bed pics that you are missing a tie down. Directly below the light, there should be a tie-down screwed into those two small threaded holes. At least there are on my truck. (6 total). Just an observation, not sure if you are aware.

This is a good temporary solution even if it’s not exactly what I want. I want something more hard wired but I have not come across what I want at a price I’m comfortable with. I may give this a shot until I find something else. Good post Noel.

Yep. I tried this today with ForScan and it said it was incompatible. Bummer!
