Just checked mine. Couldn’t get a pic because it’s raining, but the bottom of the box is the same distance out as the base of the wheel arch. So technically they don’t stick out any further than the wheel arches. Of course the top of the arch isn’t as far out as the base, so the upper box does...

There are lot of better locations that don’t interfere with the airbags. But is does require a different magnetic mount. I have a scoushe mount on the a lower Right Edge of the screen bezel. Works fine and within reach.

Do you provide power to something in the box that can't be removed and used on either side? Or is the outlet on the Driver's side and would be covered by the box? Curious why outlet dictated box location.
