Tire Rack also has a pretty detailed compare feature you can use after you search. I am leaning towards the Cooper Discoverer AT3 4S as well, it's very popular.
What Dan said, a good shop will generally plug the holes as good practice however it doesn't hurt to remind them. Secondly, install the plates for the bed extender after, so they go over the Line-X. It's easier that way.
I apologize since this is an older thread, but are you liking the Terrain Contact? I'm considering going up one size to a 265/65/18 and using the Terrain Contact instead of my stock Hankooks. Any affect on gas mileage?
Exactly. To piggyback, Cobb supports the Ecoboost Mustang, Focus RS, Focus ST, And Ford F-150/Raptor but won't support the Ranger. Figured it was worth sharing of anyone was waiting.
Hey everybody,
I spoke with a local tuner who didn't have anything for my Ranger since they use Cobb for their Ecoboost tuning. I reached out to Cobb this morning who confirmed they have no plans to offer an Accessport that works with our trucks.
Just wanted to pass it along if anyone was...
That's really cool I didn't know that. Before the announcement I was ready to jump if a hybrid AWD Maverick was available but I will have to wait. If it does happen, that would probably be exactly what I need for a daily. I'm glad Ford is trying out stuff like this.
Same, I guess it's like the hybrid Escape in that it only comes fwd.
I'll check one out though when they're on dealer lots. It looks like a super solid little truck which is great.
I agree, since I believe I'm still under warranty I just want them to do it for peace of mind. I don't want to rush to some crazy conclusion that it's the end of the world.
Hey everybody,
I have about 32,000 miles on my Ranger. I've noticed recently that driving 30 mph - 40 mph if you take your foot off the gas the truck clunks shifting down while coasting. It seems to happen between 5th and 6th gear.
This morning, the truck would not shift above 7th gear in...
Yeah, I bought the AMP sport extender. It's great when you move a 6ft box and have a 5ft bed, or if you move junk Sanford and Son style and need a little extra room.
It has a bracket it just locks in to so you can lift it up and out of the way also.
