If they won't help much then I would just have the dealer check it out. When I head into work around 1830 in the evening and need it to stay on Max AC to stay comfortable, it just doesn't seem right to me but I'm far from an expert.
Ah ok. I thought I had read somewhere that these Rangers are sensitive to bent fins. I plan on making an appointment to get it checked out anyways since I purchased an extended warranty but like to see if I can find the problem first if possible.
Well I took a look at the condenser or what I believe to be the condenser. How bad is it? Can’t believe Ford just left a gaping hole in the bumper for debris to come whack it. Pictures don’t do it justice as it looks better than it is on the pictures
According to Ford's website under the trim level specs, the 2.3 will be the DI only while the 2.7 and the 3.0 will be both DI and Port. I won't be ready for a new truck for a couple years but that 2.7 might keep me from going to the next gen Colorado in a few years. Not that there isn't anything...
I’m certainly glad I’m not the only one who thinks he ain’t nothing but a click bait producing wh***. I loved how he states GM trucks are trash because they use plastic tailgate handles but forgets that all other makes including his beloved Toyota uses plastic tailgate handles as well since the...
I didn’t need something to add to my to do list for my Ranger. Out of the options offered in this thread, this one actually makes sense as it offers something other than a place to set your beer on.
Wonder if it’s turbo lag? This is my first turbo’d vehicle and picked this over the Colorado because I eventually plan on getting a teardrop camper when I finish nursing school and wanted something that will perform well in higher elevations as well as sea level where I currently live.
I thought the 10 speed for rwd applications and the 9 speed fwd application were what they worked on together? I’ve driven some of the GM trucks with the 8 speed and only the Colorado/Canyons were consistently smooth in operation. I bought my Ranger with 77k on the clock and my only issue I’ve...
Could you link the video? I would be interested in watching it for educational purposes. I’ve been mostly happy with my 10 speed though it isn’t as smooth or fast shifting as a family members Denali.
I've had close calls with deer before but don't see how that would make any difference. Seems like a light bar will be more useful in avoiding an unfortunate meeting with the local wildlife/food source.
It seems no department will. West side is pretty nice from what I’ve seen, I have to go to Sugarland and Katy often for school which is a drag since I’m in the SE part of town.
I wish I knew why people drove with their brights on in and around Houston. Most of the streets are so well lit you don’t even need low beams. My last truck didn’t have tint on it so it was more noticeable and for some reason a majority of them were Toyotas and civics.
In most states this is illegal I believe. In Texas I certain it is also illegal.
What is the point of having fogs on with highbeams? Is it a want to look cool thing? If my brights are on, I am outside city limits and on country roads (I am not driving a toyota and have no need to blind other...
My last truck didn't have window tint and a leaky AC along with manual windows so she wasn't able to stick her head out the window when I took her along for a ride. It was dog fur free for about three days at least lol
I plan on doing front and rear Bilsteins 4600 by the end of the year. Are the fronts as easy to change like the early 2000s GM and Ford trucks or are they more like a car where you need to compress the spring to change them?
