I just zip tie the plastic cover on. Those Philips head plastic fasteners are garbage.
You can always sharpie the date on the filter to make sure it gets changed.
Tremors are 1.5-2" taller than a FX4 and other non Tremor Rangers.
So a 1" level puts you at at least 2.5" taller.
Those will fit. You might want to loosen your front crash bars and press them forward while retightening.
My 1" leveled Tremor has 3 1/4" taller suspension than another members FX4.
My truck leans half and inch as well.
I'm struggling to understand why Ford did this, especially since NA has different suspension.
Can someone walk through how I can fix it?
PN and method?
Warning check your bushing IDs before installing!
@Stage3Motorsports
Two of us so far have reported that one of the bushings ID is smaller than the others and won't fit.
Unfortunately I found out after having already installed the driver's side.
I messaged Stage 3. If they don't help soon, I'll message Icon.
Yeah I'm annoyed. I had already installed the driver's side.
No way I'd have caught that inspecting the parts ahead of time. The difference is super small.
Whelp I'm pissed.
The second side I did, turns out one of the bushings is the wrong inside diameter. I don't have a drill press and I think it's metric anyways. None of my standard bits fit.
These are the Icon Delta Joint UCAs.
I have a 1" Ford Ranger Lifts spacer kit in my garage.
I'm just waiting for my Icon UCAs to arrive.
2" is too tall IMO. My rear is only around 1.5" higher than the front.
Easiest way to think about it is the outside wheel lip, aka the actual rim of the wheel.
If a wheel is .5" wider than you current wheel and it has the same numerical offset, the wider wheel's rim will stick out further.
So if you do go for a wider wheel, you might need lower offset to clear...
That is why I bought a 2021 a month ago.
I want the new Ranger Raptor, but we aren't going to see it, certainly not going to see it at MSRP for two years or so.
