The one I got had a wye that connected into the line feeding the side maker light on the left fender. That one looks like you will need to splice it in.

It's likely a CYA for manufacturers, first place I saw it was on my 5th wheel. Checked them a few times and never found an issue. Have never done it on any vehicle for the past 50 years and lost no wheels.
