I understand, i see that post from a week ago, if you look at the beginning of the thread you will see the original poll from April. That was when I voted "in" on buying one.
I had the same problem with #4 when I did mine. There is a fuel line or something in the way in the back and it is very easy to miss the plug when pushing in the coil. Mine also had the corona marks which I am told are normal. I changed mine at 20k.
I did replace my plugs at 20k specifically for this reason. No water or damage but they now have anti-seize on them. Mine is a 19 so has a cover and is always garaged.
The guy clearly did no research on realistic range, charger availability, cost to charge, and totally fell for the hype. Ford does not present an accurate picture when the Lightning site has a travel time calculator that in the fine print says excludes charging time. What is the point of that...
That is a bit steep, I spent about $400 that took me to 32 gallons, can't see me needing something that expensive, but I'm sure some will find it effective
Interesting how revising the specifications that you bought downward is not a problem for Ford. Hopefully not a big change but on heavy dutys could impact hauling/ camper/ towing ability. Doubt it was a printing error, more likely something is failing that they need to blame on overloading...
