but everyone likes there fries differently. at least you didn't use the NH version with mayo/ketchup in a cheap french dressing as the dip.

so ive always just assumed the oil thing was due to Canada having harsh cold. but idk. i watch ice road truckers once in a while and always think screw that kind of cold.

But once you get “the works” done - it’s synthetic blend that you get - CXO 5w30 BSP. But yes - it is curious that it recommends regular oil in the maintenance section.

And hey - it ain’t poutine unless it uses cheese curds - anything else it’s just cheese on top of fries?. However, all the fries pictures are delicious looking - bad cholesterol in my body just went up as proof of just seeing it (hate getting old).

IIRC Canadian vehicles are considered more severe duty than the US due to something, some difference between Canada, to the north, and the US, which is more to the south. There is some difference. For the life of me I can't figure out what it might be though.

It’s all the harsh driving conditions we’re faced with here. I mean, just take a look at our ”freeway” system…

My guess is there’s likely an additive in one of the formulations that isn’t permitted in the other country. It’s not as if the winter conditions in Windsor or different than in Detroit (actually north of Windsor).

Yes, you’re correct Brian, it’s regular, non-synthetic motor oil according to my Ford service dealer.
