  2. Ford BMS Battery Monitoring System: How it Works and How to Properly Charge Your Battery!

I think Ford missed the boat here, my wife's 2021 Nissan Rogue with all the same equipment except ASS does not have these electrical issues. Ford needs to do a better job of managing shut down current draw and charging capacity.
  3. Ford BMS Battery Monitoring System: How it Works and How to Properly Charge Your Battery!

Yeah that made no sense to me. Something badly wrong there.
  4. 10 speed transmission issues

  6. Ford BMS Battery Monitoring System: How it Works and How to Properly Charge Your Battery!

Mine is the NoCo and this photo shows a ground at the bottom of the photo right in front of the battery. The NOCO is made for vehicle mounting.
  7. Ford BMS Battery Monitoring System: How it Works and How to Properly Charge Your Battery!

I used this to plug it in, available on Amazon. Mine is mounted right in front of the battery and there is a ground right there. For clarity, the NOCO plug(sold separately) provides a 110 plug I mounted on the air dam that I plug the extension cord into every time I park in the garage . No...
  8. Ford BMS Battery Monitoring System: How it Works and How to Properly Charge Your Battery!

Yes I'm sure it takes a lot driving in town. The gas savings from ASS is really just a trade for loss of charge and battery life.
  9. Ford BMS Battery Monitoring System: How it Works and How to Properly Charge Your Battery!

18 amp draw for a shut down vehicle seems high but would explain a lot. Makes you wonder if a battery maintainer is enough to keep the battery alive. Assuming the screen he was viewing is not something we can see in Forscan?
  10. Ranger sightings rare in US

Yes I see a lot in Albuquerque as well.
  11. Anyone know what this button is for?

Is this a tracker? Yes it is, with sim card and battery, hopefully this stops my mystery alarm noise.
  12. Issues with DRL

Also make sure the headlights are in auto
  13. First Road Trip

Yes $80 for a spacer seemed extreme
  14. First Road Trip

The manual only lists manual and power seats, so it appears all power are the same 8 ways.
  15. First Road Trip

For the seat angle I used a half inch nut for the spacer, much less expensive for the same result. The bolts are plenty long to handle the extra height.
  16. Pop ups

Yep the last few days the corner video pops up constantly, seems to come from the ads in the thread and jumps to the bottom right corner. Super annoying
  17. Wow! I've owned my Ranger since 2019 and I've never noticed this!

That is odd, mine is full bright every time.
  18. Wow! I've owned my Ranger since 2019 and I've never noticed this!

Does anyone else have to dim the dash lights every night? Mine don't stay at the previous setting.
  19. What did you do to your Ranger today?

Mounted my tool box using the rivet nuts in the bed. Next phase will be to install the fuel cell in the box.
