  1. 2019 ford ranger burned to the groud during flat towing

Sorry for your loss and I'm glad nobody was hurt. I was looking at the picture and wondered, where's your hood and front fenders? Then noticed they were molten pools of aluminum under the truck. Did a quick search, aluminum melts at 1221 F (660.32 C) Copper melts at 1984 F (1085 C) That's a...

  4. tough getting in the truck bed with tailgate down

I installed mine about a year ago but seem to remember I removed an incorrect bolt. Fyi. My truck wasn't too bad once I removed the correct ones.
  5. Android Auto Google Maps

NooTrucker, have you tried someone else's android phone? You tried multiple cables with no luck. I would try a few phones with the same cables just to test things out. I also kind of remember the left USB port was the primary one. Could be wrong or maybe doesn't matter. Good luck and keep us posted.
  6. Tremor rear tow hooks

I've seen several new youtube videos on the tremor and they are all equipped with a hitch and no tow hooks. I would have expected them to have the hooks so the reviewers talk them up because most rangers dont have them. just watched a video from autotrader with the tow hooks. Just covered briefly.
  7. Tremor rear tow hooks

Found this picture online. Looks to me the tow hook is welded to receiver assembly. Anyone see something different?
  8. Tremor rear tow hooks

Let's hope so. That would make for an easy upgrade. Are there any tremors out in the wild for verification?
  9. Tremor rear tow hooks

  17. Window trim defect

This! Not trying to bust your chops OP, but you're not the only one that needs their car worked on by the shop. I'm sure they will get to the trim as quickly as they can but other people need their cars fixed too.
  18. Swing Case Tool Box on sale

Thanks for posting. They also have some Yakima rack components for 10% to 20% off as well. I ordered a few days ago but didnt think to post about it.
  19. Pet Peeves

I agree it's pretty light feeling. I just find I often need to turn the steering wheel about 5 degrees more than what feels right for the corner I'm driving. I have been giving this more thought. Maybe I'm not used to having a 4x4 with its increased ride height and taller tires. Before the...
  20. Pet Peeves

After reading this entire thread, it looks like I'm alone in thinking the rack and pinion gear ratio is way to high (or low? I get confused). I find that the lane keeping system frequently brings me back in because I am not turning the steering wheel enough for bends in the road. Owned the...
