Good looking downpipe. Curious on how that sounds. Send a video once you're all done.
My only tip for that is to get yourself a flex head gear wrench. I think all the bolts down there are 15mm. Taking the downpipe off is a b!tc#...
Let the engine run for a minute to heat up those bolts and...
Well, any modern vehicle should be able to touch the governor for a few seconds without puking transmission fluid. ? Kinda the bare minimum... at least in my mind.
Not sure... i'm really still messing around with 17-18 configurations, just didn't want to have TOO much sidewall where it gets weird and has a weird on road feeling.
I just did the one that utilizes spacers. About 7" of lift in the front with my 2.0's that came with the Tremor. No real ride changes, still rides better than FX4 suspension.
Probably overfilled it. Same symptoms I had. (I do have an aftermarket pan though, but still was overfilled.)
That silver plug on the side if the transmission is the dipstick. They make you get it nice and hot and check the level. Have to squeeze you hand between the cat and transmission while...
I recently put on a 6ā BDS lift on my truck, and now iām looking for new wheels and tires. The 31ās that came stock on my tremor just arenāt cutting it.
Iāve been looking for about a week now and I still canāt decide on what I want. Iām restricted to tire rack because I have a dealer account...

Went back to the original shop that replaced the transmission pan. They admitted to overfilling and drained the pan to the proper level. They also noticed that there was a hole in my exhaust that was blowing directly onto the transmission, causing it to heat up. They fixed...
Oh man that sucks. Hopefully insurance covers and repairs go smoothly.
Nice job ripping their bumper off. :fistbump: They deserve it for messin' up your beauty!
Lol "Built Ford Tough" apparently not.
Thanks for the info; that helps me understand a bit more on what I was going through at the dealer. Tech said he would talk to the service manager, I waited a week; got a call back from the tech saying he spoke to the service manager and said it's not...
Well, I would like for them (at the very least), demonstrate to me that this specific issue caused the transmission to practically puke on the highway, and have rough shifting throughout it's entire life. If they come to me with actual evidence that this caused the issue; ie vehicle statistics...
Dropped it off there today and spoke to the shop owner. He said he would check fluid levels, but swears it was filled up to the correct amount... either way everything is on the house.
Slammed on a rock, that's why all the crossmembers are bent aswell. I figured I would upgrade to a PPE metal pan and save myself the possible trouble in the future. Looks like that backfired on me though. :brokenheart:
