Oh yeah, I also picked up this soft top tonneau cover. It'll mainly be used for transporting riding gear. Speaking of which, has anyone gotten their Ford Accessory hitches yet...? ?
Here's a nice view from the forbidden side. ?
I installed my new tires! :sunglasses: 265/70/17 Falken Wildpeak AT3W on my stock wheels with no spacers. I seriously love the upgrade! I also have the @Fordrangerlifts.com 2.5" level kit and Shrockworks sliders installed.
I've had this issue with every fill up I've ever done. 5k miles worth now. It's been very aggravating and I'm ready for a fix. Guess I'll take it in. The neck will pop the nozzle out every time and stop the pump.
Most of the factory ordered accessories are installed by the dealer. I would suggest visiting your dealer's parts department ahead of delivery to have them order the kit ahead of time so you can be sure it's there in time for them to install it when your truck arrives.
It's downshifting to help conserve the life of the brakes and yes, I think to help with mileage at the expense of comfort. I have found that if you slow very gradually it tends to not want to downshift into 1st gear too rapidly and that helps a lot with the surging forward upon downshift feeling.
Woah, I don't think I've seen anyone get them without the textured powder coat finish. They look nice and clean! haha. I like the textured finish myself but they also look really good with the regular black powder coat finish as well. Very nice! :like:
Finally got my http://www.FordRangerLifts.com 2.5" level on. My buddy in the shop said it was kind of a bitch to get aligned. I think I'll eventually get tubular UCAs to help with that. Maybe when I go for the Eibach kit... :sunglasses: Next up (hopefully soon!) is tires! I'm still so torn...
I really like the profile and the tread plate on these. Definitely one of the best parts to get.
The first couple are from after my level install yesterday. :sunglasses: (I know, tires are next)
